ZIZO

100 GOOD THINGS

Someone once said that the more “good things” you have in your company, the better your work quality will be.

What are ZIZO’s 100 Good Things?

It is an initiative to provide more “good things” for the company and its members. We will continue until we have 100 good things.

Casa ZIZO - studio&wine(Tokyo Office)

Casa ZIZO - studio&wine(Tokyo Office)

The Tokyo office (Casa ZIZO) includes a bar counter, a professional kitchen, and a wine cellar that can stock 2,000 bottles. It is a fun space that can be used in a variety of ways, including as a filming and distribution studio, for events, and as a gallery.

Social Events

Social Events

We meet with companies in the same creative field as ZIZO. We are curious about each other. We visit each other’s offices. We have wine and sushi parties together. These are meaningful times to discuss work procedures and projects over great food and drinks.

Skateboarding Club

Skateboarding Club

The skateboarding club is said to be the most active and dangerous club in ZIZO. The club was formed after the club leader was inspired by Horigome’s performance at the TOKYO 2020 Olympics. Rumor has it that the club meets about once a year at Utsubo Park near the Osaka office.

Completely Free Working Style

Completely Free Working Style

The shorter the time you work, the better you can perform. Based on the idea that it doesn’t matter where you are, you have complete freedom in the way you work. If you work for even one minute, you have worked for the day, and you are free to go on a workcation whether in Japan or abroad.

ZIZO FES

ZIZO FES

“ZIZO FES” was created because the previous “general meeting” didn’t offer enough waku-waku. In addition to sharing know-how, various acts are held at each stage from a “campfire goodbye” memorial service for projects that have gone up in flames to a meeting to simply play card games.

Party & Team System

Party & Team System

It is a system where several members of the same specialty can come together to enhance their skills. The “party” or “team” budget is used to purchase books and equipment, attend workshops and events, and work on landing projects in their area of expertise.

303 (Lawn Square)

303 (Lawn Square)

The lawn on the third floor of the Osaka office is an “outdoor” space where we can work while relaxing on the top-grade artificial grass, which is pleasant to the touch, or take a leisurely nap in a tent. It is also ideal as a theater and for Pilates.

Knowledge Swap

Knowledge Swap

We exchange knowledge based on actual experiences in the company, not just general information that can be found by searching the Internet. At this meeting, we share projects and various kinds of know-how. Every month, we invite guests (presenters) into a special radio booth to discuss what they’ve learned.

Emo-Tan (Emo Search)

Emo-Tan (Emo Search)

This is an in-house project led by the members of the planning team. We explore our shared emotions, investigate “how we can add waku-waku as a solution to the world’s problems”, and discuss ways to implement our ideas.

Bar Counter

Bar Counter

The bar counter is stocked with beer, wine, sake, and tequila. You can discuss your projects and life while looking out the window at the city view. This is the area where everyone comes together at night.

Verification Machine Purchase System “GE●”

Verification Machine Purchase System “GE●”

This system allows the company to purchase old devices that members used in their personal lives and repurpose them as verification devices. This is a win-win, sustainable, eco-friendly, green system.

Osaka Office

Osaka Office

Our spacious Osaka office is on the top floor of a building with a great view. We enjoy working every day in a high-quality environment with carefully curated interior design. If we get stuck on an idea, we can refresh ourselves at the bar counter (where the beer is always cold).

Waku-waku Quota

Waku-waku Quota

This system allows each employee to spend up to 3,000 yen per month to increase waku-waku in their lives. This includes going to museums, watching movies, buying books, etc. This system reminds us that as adults we can still have fun and to take advantage of that fact.

Tokyo Office

Tokyo Office

Our Tokyo office is a 5-minute walk from Aoyama-itchome Station. Outside the window is the peaceful Aoyama Park, where we work while watching children playing energetically and businessmen napping comfortably. Gloves and balls are provided whenever we need a break.

Waku-waku lottery

Waku-waku lottery

We want to create as much waku-waku as possible! In order to realize this goal, each member’s business card contains a raffle-style lottery on it. You can win sushi coupons, Dom Perignon, or other great prizes. Good luck.

Annual Training Trip

Annual Training Trip

Every year, we encourage employees to go on an overseas training trip if they achieve their goals. The budget for the trip is determined by the achievement rate. So far, we have gone to Hawaii, Singapore, Paris, and San Francisco. For the past few years, we have been using a style of travel in which each participant makes his/her own arrangements and takes a route they choose.

Salary & Bonus

Salary & Bonus

ZIZO’s salary system is a grade system. The amount of an individual’s base salary and gross profit target are determined according to his/her grade. In six-month increments, bonuses increase if the gross profit target exceeds 100% and decrease if it falls below the target. It is a very clear and fair system.

CASA ZIZO

CASA ZIZO

At the end of the year, ZIZO holds “Casa ZIZO”, a party where ZIZO gives back to all the partners who have usually taken care of us. Over a glass of wine and delicious food, we express our gratitude for the past year.

ZIZO LAB

ZIZO LAB

A laboratory for developing our own new services. Once an idea is conceived, presented, and approved as an official company project, a budget is attached, and development begins. Some services have been a great success, others were created and then terminated. The experimentation continues.

What we have done in the past.

Global Strategy Office

Global Strategy Office

We have a “Global Strategy Office” that actively promotes overseas projects and communicates with companies around the world every day. The head of the office, Mr. Cristian (from Spain), is a nice young man who enjoys paella and wine.

UPUP AWARD

UPUP AWARD

ZIZO encourages “aiming up” at all times, and this is a system to commend those who “change something and go up (UP), even if only a little”. For each award, a special badge is given, and if you collect 10 badges, you will receive a wonderful prize. (It is the same system used in the long-running Japanese variety show “Shoten”.)

ZED (OFF-JT Training)

ZED (OFF-JT Training)

This is ZIZO’s original training system. Even those with limited production experience may become active on the front lines in the blink of an eye after undergoing this training.

Edobori Kitchen

Edobori Kitchen

A company cafeteria that opens on occasion. Members who love to cook bring in ingredients to the Edobori Kitchen and prepare delicious dishes to serve to everyone. This rare cafeteria is open only when the staff feels like it.

English Lunch

English Lunch

In order to become people with a waku-waku vibe who can work globally, we hold meetings to talk with members from abroad over lunch. Because of the rule that we only speak English during lunch, people around us assume we are amazing people (or, at least, we hope so).

Technical Sharing

Technical Sharing

A meeting held by a tech team that seeks to create waku-waku through the fusion of technology and ideas. This is a brainstorming session to share “what we can do” using mockups and how to make use of them in specific projects.
