VISION
1
We want to create as much waku-waku in the world as possible.
2
We want to catch a waku-waku vibe every day.
We create waku-waku.
It is something that makes you grin unintentionally.
It is something that makes your heart thump just by thinking about it.
It is enjoying the wind racing through your hair. It makes you believe anything is possible.
It is caressing a hot cup of tea in your hands. It allows you to enjoy doing nothing.
It is the sensation of needing to tell someone something.
Waku-waku has the power to shake us, enchant those around us, and spread like wildfire.
We strive to create things that blow minds and cause the world to spin differently.
1
If you ask us what we do for work every day, we answer without hesitation: “Create waku-waku”.
Then, is it OK to work in any way as long as you create waku-waku? The answer is yes.
Since we are a creative agency and waku-waku is our specialty, our primary purpose is to deliver waku-waku to the world through polished, high-quality work, rather than through cheap products with short deadlines.
2
ZIZO’s basic philosophy is that people have more fun and perform better when they do what they want to do.
However, if we only do what we want to do, then work is just a hobby. In order to expand the area where the three circles overlap, we always keep the following three points in mind: find what we want to do and get immersed in it, increase what we can do, and finish what is required of us. We are always conscious of these three things.
Because it achieves the most waku-waku if we have sufficient ability to do what we want to do and if the world demands that of us.
3
We know the importance of learning from precedent and convention. After all, there is a reason why everything became the way it is today. The efforts of our predecessors are filled with wisdom.
And based on that, we want to think from scratch when we consider the best way to do things. As change accelerates, we believe we can discover better answers by changing to a rational, optimal way of doing things rather than those who stop thinking because “this is the way it is” or “because a great person said so”.
We want to be excited by envisioning the future and be unafraid of change, not only in our own work style and company systems, but also in the projects we take on.
4
Just as no one expects a soccer team with only forwards or a rugby team with only flankers to win, a team made up of people with the same attributes is not strong.
We want to be a team with as many different skills, careers, nationalities, cultures, perspectives, and work styles as possible.
The important thing is that we are all marching in the same direction. Everyone should pursue their own specialty while respecting each other. A team with a variety of personalities is strong, and above all, it feels waku-waku to work in such a team.
5
We enjoy good food, take care of ourselves, and embrace our interests.
It is only natural but we cannot create waku-waku without a healthy mind and body.
We strive to ensure that our physical spaces, our projects, and everyone involved are healthy and sound.
